wallbreakers ist ein festival, welches sich um streetart und urbane kunst dreht.

The WallBreakers Festival is a series of urban art exhibitions, presenting
talents and aesthetics from artists who have emerged from urban or
acitivist pracitices.

The Wallbreakers festival starts in June 2009 and takes place at different
happenings, which demonstrate a strong connection between the art- &
music-scenes.

The final exhibition will be celebrated on November 9th in Berlin.

nein das ist nicht der neueste titel eines paris hilton pornos. es handelt sich hierbei um ein kurzfilm von benoît millot. in diesem kurzfilm geht es um einen roboter der auf “rollschuhen” durch paris unterwegs ist. den soundtrack haben electric president dazu gesteuert.

mad c ist eine writerin, welche ein jahr lang eine 640 qm große wand bemalen wird. dazu sind bisher 1392 dosen eingeplant. das ganze konzept heißt “stylemachine” und wird von molotow gesponsort.

30works ist eine Galerie für streetart, pop art und urbane kunst. hier das making of  zu der ausstellung namens “dirty works”.

Dreckig, rotzig, rebellisch, rau, politisch, anarchisch, provokant, subversiv, manchmal kriminell – Streetart ist ein Raubtier, das die heiligen Kühe des Kunstbetriebs frisst. Jetzt überrollen die Jungen Wilden Köln. Vom 12. Dezember 2009 bis zum 16. Januar 2010 ist die Galerie 30works Treffpunkt für Sympathisanten der Pop-Art des 21. Jahrhunderts: Internationale Streetart-Künstler präsentieren ihre Arbeiten in der Ausstellung „dirty works @ 30works“. Unter den Schöpfern der „dirty works“ sind die Top-Künstler der Streetart-Szene, von EMESS über Rourke Van Dal bis hin zu SMASH137. Auch Editionen englischer Streetart-Ikonen wie Banksy oder D*Face zeigt 30works.

The Ghostvillage Project was created over 3 days on the west coast of Scotland. 6 artists – Timid, Remi/Rough, System, Stormie Mills, Juice 126, Derm – were given free reign to paint in an abandoned 1970s village. Working together on huge collaborative walls and individually in hidden nooks and crannies all over the site the artists realised long held dreams and were inspired by the bleakness and remoteness of the site. Drawing on the history of the village the artists’ stated intent on completion of the project was to populate the ghostvillage with the art and characters that it deserved.
